200 year old stagecoach stop! This is a once in a life time chance to own a true piece of history! The Buckhorn Inn was built in the early 1800s and quickly became a mainstay for those traveling between Richmond or Harrisonburg and those coveted hot springs of western VA. It was a stagecoach stop for travelers and even became a “hospital” for civil war soldiers later in that century. Since then, under several different owners, it has transformed from the Buckhorn Tavern to the Buckhorn Inn & Restaurant to its current status as an Historic B&B; the restaurant is currently closed most of the year.
