I come to Cottonwood Commercial with over 20 years of business experience. For ten of those years, I worked my family’s commercial poultry farms in the Shenandoah Valley. Shortly after graduating from Bridgewater College with a bachelor of science degree, my passion for business led me to start my own. In 2011, I founded Riders in Motion, a motorcycle safety training school in Broadway, Virginia and have owned and operated it ever since. Farming instilled in me a relentless perseverance and the significance of hard work. Owning my own business has taught me many lessons but perhaps the most important is the value of community and building lasting relationships, which is something I wish to continue as a realtor. In both business and personal life, I enjoy learning, leading by example, serving others, fostering relationships and doing it all with integrity. As Dwight D. Eisenhower said, "The supreme quality for leadership is unquestionably integrity.” As a commercial realtor, I am passionate about helping business owners reach their goals in real estate. As an investor myself, I understand that the purchase of commercial property is a significant investment; therefore I seek to always have my clients’ best interests at heart. I do not consider myself a salesman but rather an educator and resource to others. I have been investing in my own real estate since 2016 with short-term and long-term rental properties in both the Shenandoah Valley and Fredericksburg, Virginia. I am a husband, dad and active church and community member. My wife, Anna, and I started an Airbnb and love to host guests visiting the beautiful Shenandoah Valley. As a Broadway business owner and resident, I have a keen interest in growth and development in and around the Shenandoah Valley. Having also lived in Fredericksburg four years while working in Northern Virginia, I am also eager to help clients in whatever area of Virginia interests them.
